Heute ist mir mal wieder eine Fälschung untergekommen.
Übrigens: Ab Ende dieser Woche soll es wärmer werden.

Zwei von der schnellen Truppe, herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Gut informiert mit guten Augen.
Habt ihr auch gesehen, dass links oben im Gemälde die Vertreibung aus dem Paradies (Paradise Lost) ins Bild gesetzt wurde. (Nicht vom Fälscher)

Das Grundgemälde ist von Eugène Ferdinand Victor Delacroix (1798–1863),
Titel: Milton diktiert seinen Töchtern das „verlorene Paradies“ (veröffentlicht 1667)
– John Milton, einer der berühmtesten engl. Dichter, geb. 1608 zu London, war der Sohn eines Notars, studierte zu Cambridge, wo er sich schon durch engl. und lat. Gedichte, sowie durch Fleiß auszeichnete -.
Entstehungsjahr um 1826, Epoche: Romantik,
Maße: 79 × 63 cm, Technik: Öl auf Leinwand,
Aufbewahrungsort: Williamstown (Massachusetts),
Sammlung G. H. Hamilton
Die vor Milton sitzende Tochter wurde ausgetauscht mit
der „Nachdenklichen jungen Frau mit Mandoline (Atelier des Künstlers)“
aus dem Gemälde von Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (1796–1875)
Öl auf Leinwand, 56 x 46 cm, gemalt um 1865/70
und ist in Paris, Musée d’Orsay zu sehen.
