Einen Gruß in die Runde,
u.a. um unterwegs (neben dem Smartphone) flexibel zu sein, habe ich mir ein „einfaches“ IPad gekauft, auch, um Einblick in die Apple- Welt zu bekommen.
Dass ich damit außerhalb WLan nicht ins Internet komme, ist für mich kein Manko, wenn es erforderlich wird, klappt es allemal über Smartphone-Tethering
Beim Betriebssystem „iOS“ ist zwar vieles anders, als bei WIN10 und Android, aber der Umgang und die „Eingewöhnung“ machen mir Spaß.
Was ich nicht erwartet habe:
Werbung scheint aufdringlicher zu sein, als bei WIN und Android, aber vielleicht habe ich noch nicht die Möglichkeiten gefunden, einiges zu unterdrücken.

Hallo Fletchy,
ganz ist mir nicht klar, welche Werbung unter IOS Du meinst. Werbung im Safari-Browser oder z.B. lästige Nachfragen in Apps zur Bewertung. Sollte letzteres zutreffen, dann in EINSTELLUNGEN→ APP STORE → BEWERTUNGEN IN APPS: ausschalten.

Das meiste in diesem Newsletter kann man auch für das iPad nutzen.
Ich nutze IOS zwar schon seit 10 Jahren und doch kriege ich immer wieder was gezeigt, was mich staunen lässt: „ ohhhh, das geht!“
